Mita partners with her clients to leverage and maximize their strengths to make progress towards the previously identified goals. Clients are empowered to overcome self-limiting beliefs and obstacles.
Within an organization, Mita works with the client, the client’s leader, human resources partner, client’s peers, and direct reports, to co-develop a strategy for goal attainment.
Goal Attainment
Mita provides her clients with tools and techniques to sustain goal achievement and handle future challenges.
She conducts a review of the coaching process and results acquired.

Mita works with organizations to support their leaders to rise to their full potential in their current role or move up to a higher role with substantially greater responsibility. Working with each leader’s unique strengths and talents, together, you will remove obstacles and barriers and create a winning outcome for both, leader and organization. Her program drives self-discovery, development and transformation of clients at all levels. Clients learn how to leverage their strengths and become aware of patterns and behaviors that require change in order for them to reach their full potential.

70% of today’s workforce is comprised of women who have children under the age of 18. Many of those same women are regarded as top talent in their companies. It’s imperative that employers create an environment that better suits and supports the needs of working moms to prevent the loss of valuable talent, the reduction of knowledge surplus, and costly recruiting endeavors. The earlier the organization works with women on their motherhood journey, the better the results.

Mita Fitzjohn, Certified Professional Coach
Mita understands the meaning of a career transformation journey, as she underwent her own journey in identifying her calling to become a career and leadership coach.
As a Certified Professional Coach, she earned her coaching certificate through the Co-Active Training Institute (formerly Coaches Training Institute). She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA and a Master’s in Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School in Lake Forest, IL.

Mita has been coaching clients formally and informally for 20 years, with over 25 years of experience in sales, written and verbal communications, consulting, business ownership, sales leadership, project management, talent development, instructional design, training, and organizational effectiveness.
Being able to empathize, relate to and connect with others brings her great joy and reward, and making a strong, positive impact on her clients is critical to her work. She loves to learn, read, cook and spend time with her amazing friends.

Most importantly, she has the privilege and honor of being a wife to her loving husband, Jon, and a proud mom to her two beautiful, talented and kind, teenage kids, Averie and Evan. And of course, she is a doting dog mom to their goofy labradoodle, Wolfgang.
