The Mita Fitzjohn Coaching Process
Custom tailored for Individuals and Organizations
In this phase of the process, clients set and refine their goals. Mita works with her clients to gain a clear understanding and prioritization of their goals. The client’s values guide the discovery process.
Mita partners with her clients to leverage and maximize their strengths to make progress towards the previously identified goals. Clients are empowered to overcome self-limiting beliefs and obstacles.
Within an organization, Mita works with the client, the client’s leader, human resources partner, client’s peers, and direct reports, to co-develop a strategy for goal attainment.
Mita provides her clients with tools and techniques to sustain goal achievement and handle future challenges.
She conducts a review of the coaching process and results acquired.

Empower the high performing mothers in your organization by developing a culture that supports working moms
Are you ready to make the career leap that you’ve been longing for? Are you ready to go for it and soar to new heights in your current field or shift into a field that is authentically you? Mita works with people to overcome their obstacles and self-limiting beliefs so that they can achieve the career of their dreams and live the life they’ve always imagined for themselves.
Having worked in corporate America for a quarter of a century, Mita understands the critical role that leaders, of all levels, play in the success of the organization. Her extensive background in coaching leaders and individual contributors, formally and informally, over the past 20 years has given her the experience and insight needed to transform individual contributors into leaders and existing leaders into the best leaders they can be.
Coaching for Organizations
Mita works with organizations to support their leaders to rise to their full potential in their current role or move up to a higher role with substantially greater responsibility. Working with each leader’s unique strengths and talents, together, you will remove obstacles and barriers and create a winning outcome for both, leader and organization. Her program drives self-discovery, development and transformation of clients at all levels. Clients learn how to leverage their strengths and become aware of patterns and behaviors that require change in order for them to reach their full potential.
Creating Working-Mom Friendly Organizations
70% of today’s workforce is comprised of women who have children under the age of 18. Many of those same women are regarded as top talent in their companies. It’s imperative that employers create an environment that better suits and supports the needs of working moms to prevent the loss of valuable talent, the reduction of knowledge surplus, and costly recruiting endeavors. The earlier the organization works with women on their motherhood journey, the better the results.
"I would recommend Mita to anyone looking to grow professionally. Prior to coaching from Mita, I'd worked with both a life coach and a professional coach. However, I didn't get great results from either. I was hesitant to try it again but I was in such a bad place that I decided that it might not hurt to give it another shot. Thank God I took the chance! My experience working with Mita was life changing!"
